Meet our Vision Advocate!
Neuro-vision rehabilitative therapist and patient educational advocate, Rebecca Dixon, holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Arts & Sciences with emphasis on Social Sciences from Liberty University. Included in her scope of studies were Psychology of Childhood, Behavioral Modification, Developmental Psychology through the Lifespan, and the Psychology of Language. Having worked with diverse student populations teaching both at the elementary and secondary levels in California, Nevada, and Maryland, she has also volunteered with schools in Texas and Virginia. She worked as a substitute teacher’s aide at both the Ruth Parker Eason and Marley Glen Schools for Special Education in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Rebecca has four children and, as a wife of a retired Naval officer, has lived in 7 states and overseas. She loves to hike and sail and fly with her husband, a private pilot.
