We are a dynamic practice of vision specialists working to help patients in our community address a multitude of neurological vision disorders. We are committed to utilizing the newest tools and technology to help our patients achieve the best visual function possible. Our innovative testing services include functional vision testing, computerized RightEye eye tracking assessment, Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) testing, and Visual Cognitive assessments.   We incorporate various hands-on treatments, including the use of virtual reality (Vivid Vision software), BrainTap, BEMER, VoxxLife, and specialty lenses to achieve optimal visual and neurological function.

Our goal is to enhance the visual development for patients of all ages in the most effective manner possible. The Center for Vision Development is board certified through The College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). We provide comprehensive testing and treatment for patients with visual challenges, serving Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas.

Our in-depth evaluation strategy involves a step-by-step process to determine if a vision problem exists, as well as whether vision enhancement may be required. The initial appointment will provide a complex examination of you or your child’s visual system and typically lasts 60 minutes. The second appointment assesses the visual performance skills necessary for success in the classroom or office. Following this second evaluation, a consultation will be scheduled with the doctor where the results will be discussed and you will be provided with a detailed vision report, including recommended academic or workplace accommodations. 
 

When vision problems are detected, or vision enhancement is requested, an individualized treatment program will be designed by one of our doctors.  Treatment may involve the use of lenses, prisms, filters, syntonics, BEMER, Braintap, and/or Neuro-Visual Rehabilitative Therapy.  All therapy sessions are performed on an individual basis by one of our highly trained vision therapists.
